Infra Red Spectroscopy
A "fingerprint" technique used to identify and characterise materials. Chemical bonds absorb infra-red light at a very specific wavelength. By scanning the infra-red region a spectrum is acquired.
Using a versatile ATR attachment, spectra can be obtained from soft solids, liquid or powder samples.
